Main Sessions Ends of the Earth Next Door | David Garrison

For nearly four decades, Dr. David Garrison has been a missionary pioneer in understanding church planting movements among unreached peoples. He has a PhD in historical theology from the University of Chicago. His books Church Planting Movements (2004), and A Wind in the House of Islam (2014) have been translated into more than 20 languages. Garrison has served as a missionary in North Africa and India, and as the Associate Vice President for Global Strategy at the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. Garrison most recently served as the executive director of Global Gates, a ministry in 29 global gateway cities which seeks to reach the world's least-reached peoples through global gateway cities.

Reaching the Nations Next Door | Terry Sharp

Terry Sharp served as an IMB missionary in Spain and Brazil before spending ten years at the Tennessee Baptist Convention as a director—first in the language church planting department, and later in partnership missions. He has also served on the staff of numerous churches, the last as missions pastor. He retired in 2023 from the IMB after 28 years of service, most recently serving as Director of Convention Relations and Diaspora Mobilization.
