FUNDRAISING DEADLINE:  Sunday June 2nd, 2024

Our Church is in need for a full replacement of a new roof. What would happen if our church truly seeks and trusts the Lord in this Roof Project? What if we pray to see what God does? GOD is more concerned with the way we build than with what we build. A large and beautiful house of worship that is built by wrong means will not be blessed by God's presence.

The following guidelines should be followed:

BUILDING PROJECT PRINCIPLES

​

1. All Building Projects should follow the principles laid down in SCRIPTURE. (Psalm 127:1; Exodus 25:20-29 36:1-3; Ezra 1:1-5)

2. Adopting any carnal, deceptive or manipulative FUNDRAISING practices would be wrong. (1 Corinthians 10:3-5; 2 Corinthians 8:1-21; 9:6-11)

3. Raising funds ABOVE tithes and offerings for special projects has always been part of church life. (1 Corinthians 16:1–3)

4. Qualified men were DELEGATED to projects by the elders of the church. (Acts 6:1–4, 15:22-28)

5. We should build with FUTURE NEEDS of our children’s children in mind.

 

We must not make the mistake of building only in the light of the present circumstances. If the Lord does not return in our lifetime, whatever we build will hopefully be around for the next generations to come!
